Specifically: - **Voice audio** is sent to OpenAI (Whisper API) solely for the purpose of converting your speech to text. - **Transcribed text** may be sent to OpenAI (GPT API) solely for the purpose of text refinement, such as removing filler words and formatting. - **Account information** is used for authentication, subscription management, and usage tracking. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Audio recordings are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers after transcription is complete. Transcription results and voice notes are stored in your account and can be deleted at any time.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: - **Firebase Authentication** (Google) — for secure user authentication and account management. - **Stripe** — for payment processing. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. - **OpenAI Whisper API** — your voice audio recordings are sent to OpenAI for speech-to-text transcription. Audio data is processed in real-time and is not retained by OpenAI after processing. - **OpenAI GPT API** — transcribed text may be sent to OpenAI for AI-powered text refinement (removing filler words, formatting). Text data is not retained by OpenAI after processing. OpenAI's data usage policies state that data submitted through their API is not used for model training.
